Today was about advocacy. ❤️ 2.20.26

lovely Heart Hero’s on the pannel at Go Red lunch

I hear you -

I was deeply honored to be the Passion Speaker for the Go Red for Women luncheon with the American Heart Association of Southern Nevada.

I wasn’t polished.
I cried.
My voice shook.

But I shared my story anyway—because for a long time, I didn’t feel like I had a voice in my own healthcare.

I told the room:
“I wasn’t looking for answers. I was looking to be heard.”

What stayed with me afterward was this: people in positions of leadership—executives and decision-makers—told me they heard me. That matters. That is progress.

Even more meaningful were the personal heart journeys people trusted me with after I stepped off the stage. Those conversations were quiet, honest, and deeply moving.

We do need to be our own advocates. But we also need to show up for one another.

To everyone navigating their own heart journey—I hear you.

When a Hospital Truly Listens

This is me with Nurse Ellie, who helped guide me through cardiac rehab. Like many survivors, I experienced fear, grief, confusion, and unexpected waves of emotion. When the tears came, Ellie never rushed me past them. She simply reminded me it was okay—and that made all the difference.

Heart Month week 2

After Go Red Day and The Morning Blend, something meaningful happened.

We sat down with the team at Summerlin Hospital for a heartfelt interview. Not rushed. Not edited for sound bites. Just time, care, and real listening.

They didn’t just ask what happened.
They asked how it felt.
What changed.
What came after.

Reading their story back, I felt something I don’t take lightly. I felt seen. Not as a patient, not as a headline, but as a person whose experience mattered.

I’m incredibly grateful to the physicians, nurses, and cardiac rehab team at Summerlin Hospital who didn’t just help save my life, but supported me through the part that comes after survival. The physical healing and the emotional reckoning.

Sharing this story wasn’t easy. But if it helps one woman trust her instincts, ask one more question, or advocate for herself just a little sooner, then it’s worth it.

This wasn’t about looking back.
It was about making sure others are better protected moving forward.

Go Red Day, Butterflies and All

Cameras on, nerves high, hearts full. Grateful to share Go Red Day and spread awareness together.

Lets go! Heart Month week 1

Go Red Day was one of those deep breath, here we go moments.

Yes, the cameras were on.
Yes, I was a little nervous.
And yes, I immediately forgot what I was supposed to do with my hands.

But the minute we walked in, it felt easy.

The team at The Morning Blend made us feel genuinely welcomed. Warm. Kind. Like they actually wanted us there. That changes everything.

Being able to share Go Red Day on air and help spread awareness alongside the American Heart Association was something I don’t take lightly. These moments matter. Not because they’re polished, but because they reach people who might need to hear the message that day.

Huge gratitude to KTNV Channel 13 for giving us the space to show up, nerves and all, and still feel supported.

Cameras on. Hearts full.
And yes… I survived the segment 😉

Vegas Stronger Champion

A Win for Hearts and Advocacy

We are still buzzing with excitement! It is an absolute honor to announce that Enusia has been named a Vegas Stronger Champion. Receiving this recognition from Findlay Automotive Group and KTNV Channel 13 is more than just a win for our brand—it’s a powerful validation of our mission to empower heart patients everywhere.

The Heart Behind the Award

Every business has a "why," and for Enusia, that why is deeply personal. As an NSTEMI survivor, I know firsthand the anxiety of needing to carry life-saving medication like nitroglycerin at all times. I created Enusia because I believe that your medical needs should never compromise your style or your confidence.

Nitroglycerin has been a staple of cardiovascular medicine for over a century, providing critical relief by dilating blood vessels to increase oxygen supply to the heart. For many, having it within arm's reach is a literal lifesaver.

Standing Together for Advocacy

This award isn't just about a "big check"—it’s about the platform it provides for self-advocacy. We were thrilled to be joined by Christopher Calloway from the American Heart Association - Nevada and Justin Bruce from KTNV to showcase how we are turning a medical necessity into a stylish statement of strength.

Advocacy means knowing your body, speaking up for your health, and having the tools you need to feel secure every single day.

What’s Next?

The momentum is just getting started!

  • Watch the Feature: If you missed the segment, you can watch the full interview and see the Enusia shout-out on the KTNV website. OR CLICK HERE

  • Go Red with Us: This Friday is National Wear Red Day. Be sure to tune in to The Morning Blend live to catch us discussing heart health and the "Go Red for Women" campaign.

Thank you, Las Vegas, for being so strong and for supporting a mission that truly comes from the heart.

Heart Walk 2025

❤️ Walking for a Cause: The Reward of Volunteering at the Heart Walk

This weekend, I had the privilege of volunteering at the Las Vegas Heart Walk at the Las Vegas Ballpark, and it turned out to be one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve had in a long time. Surrounded by survivors, families, healthcare heroes, and countless supporters, the day was filled with energy, hope, and purpose.

As volunteers, our mission was simple — to help raise awareness about heart health and the importance of early detection, self-care, and community support. But as I handed out coffee, shared smiles, and listened to stories, it became clear that this event was about something much deeper: connection.

Each person there had a reason for walking — a loved one they lost, a personal journey through recovery, or a desire to make a difference. The strength and positivity that radiated from every conversation reminded me why these moments matter so much. Heart disease touches nearly every family, yet together, we can bring change — one step, one story, and one heart at a time.

Being part of this event reaffirmed my belief that awareness saves lives. Sometimes, just starting the conversation about symptoms, lifestyle changes, or stress management can make all the difference.

Volunteering wasn’t just about showing up — it was about giving back to a cause that means everything to me personally. Knowing that my small role helped support education, research, and prevention programs felt incredible.

A huge thank you to the American Heart Association for organizing such an inspiring event at the Las Vegas Ballpark and for their ongoing dedication to spreading awareness and empowering individuals to take charge of their heart health. Their efforts remind us that change begins when we come together for something bigger than ourselves.

At Enusia, our mission aligns with that same spirit — helping people feel safe, confident, and supported wherever life takes them. Every bracelet we design carries that purpose forward: peace of mind, always within reach.

Let’s keep moving forward together — for every heartbeat, every survivor, and every story that still needs to be told. ❤️

❤️ Walking Together at the Las Vegas Heart Walk at LV Ball Park– On October 18

On October 18, I’ll be joining the Las Vegas Heart Walk at the Las Vegas Ballpark, home of the Aviators. This annual event brings our community together to raise awareness and support for heart health.

Why It Matters

Heart disease touches so many lives—including my own. As a heart attack survivor, this walk is a reminder of how important it is to take care of our health, support research, and stand with others on the same journey.

The Power of Community

The Heart Walk isn’t just about fundraising—it’s about connection, encouragement, and hope. Walking side by side shows that none of us are alone, and that together, we can make a difference.

Join Me

If you’re in Las Vegas, come walk with us on October 18 at the Las Vegas Aviators Ballpark. If you can’t be there in person, you can still spread awareness, share resources, or support the American Heart Association in their mission.

Every step counts. Every story matters. And together, we can keep hearts beating stronger.

Why I Created a Stylish, Discreet Way to Carry My Medication Anywhere

It all begins with an idea.

The Problem I Faced

A few years ago, I found myself constantly worrying about whether I had my medication with me—on trips, running errands, at football games, concerts, and even at the gym.

Sometimes I carried it in a pocket or in a clear purse (because that’s all some venues allow), but it was uncomfortable, obvious, and far from discreet. I didn’t like feeling like my health was on display for strangers to see.

And there were moments when I needed my medication urgently—only to realize it wasn’t within reach. That mix of anxiety and frustration stuck with me.

The Solution I Needed

I knew there had to be a better way to carry essential medication without it getting in the way of living my life. I wanted something:

  • Comfortable enough to wear 24/7

  • Discreet enough so no one would guess what it holds

  • Durable enough for travel, hiking, sports, or daily wear

That’s when I began designing what would become the solution I wish I’d had all along—a stylish, waterproof pill holder bracelet. That’s how Enusia was born. Created to bring peace of mind on the go

How It Changed My Life

Today, I can go to games, concerts, wear in the shower, swim or a day at the park without thinking twice about where my medication is—it’s always with me, always secure, and always in style. No more digging through bags or worrying about whether I brought it along.

Why You Might Need This Too

  • Peace of mind knowing your medication is always within reach

  • A discreet, stylish alternative to bulky pill containers or visible storage in clear purses

  • Waterproof, durable, and perfect for any lifestyle—from everyday errands to outdoor adventures

  • Convenient for taking medications before meals when dining out, or keeping daily vitamins on hand wherever the day takes you.

Life doesn’t stop for health needs—and with the right tools, neither should you.

That’s why I created Enusia: more than a bracelet, it’s peace of mind—always with you.
